一、教材分析：本节课是江苏科学技术出版社义务教育课程标准实验教科书（苏科版）七年级上册第6章第1节《线段、射线、直线》，它是小学所学内容的延续，是研究平面图形的基础。
二、学情分析：学习本节课钱，学生对图形的认识仅仅局限与直观性的识图，没有学习图形的表示方法，而从实际情境中抽象出图形、概念，对学生来说是比较困难的。

（1）认识并会用符号表示线段、射线、直线，了解两点间距离的概念。
